These examples show commonly ordered items with designs that meet the University’s guidelines for apparel, promotional items and merchandise orders. Use these examples as helpful reference when ordering promotional items.

Lanyards

Lanyards have a small imprint area and require a signature (or merch mark). We will work with you and the licensed vendor on options when a secondary graphic or text is requested.

Drinkware

Coffee mugs, water bottles and cups are popular promotional items. Depending on the product, there will be options for adding a design in a single imprint area or two imprint areas.

When ordering a product that has a single imprint area we will work with you and the licensed vendor to ensure the required signature (or merch mark) and secondary graphic/text work within the imprint area.

Two imprint areas are a great choice for drinkware. Place the required signature (or merch mark) on one side and your area-specific graphic and/or text on the other side.

Pens & USB Drives

Pens and thumb drives have very small imprint areas. We will work with you and the licensed vendor to include the appropriate merch mark and will incorporate additional text, such as a website or phone number, when possible.

Bags & Totes

Bags have large imprint areas, allowing for the required signature and an area-specific graphic to be used.

Notebooks & Journals

Notebooks have average imprint areas, allowing for the required signature and an area-specific graphic to be used.

Stickers

Stickers have a small imprint area. Depending on the size of your sticker, we will work with you and the licensed vendor to ensure the required signature (or merch mark) and secondary graphic and/or text work within the imprint area.

Lapel Pins & Buttons

Lapel pins and buttons have a small imprint area. Depending on the size of your lapel pin or button, we will work with you and the licensed vendor to ensure the required Stacked MU (or merch mark) and secondary text work within the imprint area.

Umbrellas

Umbrellas generally have a large imprint area, allowing for the required signature to be used.

Tablecloths

Tablecloths have a large imprint area with enough space to include the required signature and area-specific text or graphics.

Banner Flags

Banner flags generally have multiple imprint areas, allowing for the required signature and area-specific text and/or graphics.
